Replacing motor bearings on a cold water booster pump is important for several reasons. Bearings are critical components that allow the motor’s shaft to rotate smoothly. Over time, they can wear out due to friction, moisture, or contamination. If bearings fail, it can cause the motor to seize, leading to complete pump failure. This can result in costly downtime and repairs. Worn or damaged bearings can lead to excessive vibration and noise during operation. This can indicate that the bearings are no longer providing proper support, and if left unchecked, it could cause damage to other motor components or the pump itself. Bearings that are in good condition help ensure that the motor operates efficiently with minimal friction. Worn bearings can increase energy consumption, leading to higher operational costs and decreased performance of the pump. If the motor bearings fail, it can lead to misalignment or other components being damaged. For example, damaged bearings can affect the rotor and stator alignment, causing excessive wear on the pump and motor, which can lead to more expensive repairs.

Expansion vessel(s) are isolated and drained and charged with nitrogen to suit sites requirements. We test system fully in automatic and leave functioning correctly, or highlighting any remedials required.

Being able to pick up defects in the system through regular service visits before they become catastrophic failures is essential.
