ONSITE REPAIRS

During a service visit of this submersible pumping station we highlighted that the float switch was faulty and not operating correctly and this should be replaced. The defective float switch was removed and a new one installed, hooked up and wired into the control panel.

Sewage/Submersible Sets

Scope of works

Float switches are essential for the automatic operation of these systems, ensuring the pump only runs when needed and turns off when not necessary, improving efficiency and reducing wear on the pump. By ensuring the pump does not run dry or get overworked, these switches help avoid damaging the pump motor, which can be costly to repair or replace. Proper control of pump activation and deactivation ensures that the system can handle varying water levels without risk of overflow, backups, or damage to infrastructure. The use of the standby float switch increases system reliability by providing redundancy. If one switch fails, the backup system ensures proper operation. Together, these float switches ensure the submersible pump system operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal risk of damage or system failure.
